Colton at 4 months
I have to share my precious little boy laughing at his favorite word. I discovered that he likes the word "duck" while giving him a bath a couple of weeks ago. He is so funny....

A break from the heat
This week the weather has been beautiful and we have been enjoying it. We have been getting up a little bit earlier than normal and walking to school. It has been wonderful. This morning we passed by the ducks and fed them before going to school. It was a nice treat for everyone, including the ducks since they were very hungry. The kids enjoyed one fun slide on the playground at school before first bell rang. I love our neighborhood and feel very blessed to be able to enjoy such fun amenities.

School time fun
This week our school started having back to school activities. I can't believe that school time is here already. It makes me so sad and excited for the boys. danny is a big first grader this year and Caleb is a kindergartener. Two kids in school is a bit overwhelming. I pray that they have been placed in classrooms that will be the best fit for each of them and that they have a safe schol year. One tradition that I started last year is praying with the kids before they get out of the car. I tried to enter the car pool line early so that we could sit in the car and have prayer time about the day and for the kids safety throughout the day and of course that the Lord would surround Danny and Caleb with kids that have kind words. I will continue that. The Lord answered my prayers daily and brought our family back together safely at the end of every day. Danny and Caleb have such sweet hearts. They are crazy boys in alot of ways but when you peel back the "boy" side of them you see the wonderful ways that they are made with their sweet spirits. I hope that shines through at school. I am lucky to be their mom. I don't always have all the answers to be the perfect parent that I would love to be, but I love both of them so much and I pray that they remember that when they are away at school. Sorry so sentimental......I just had a baby and both my big boys are going to school.....that's not good for the hormones.
We are all looking forward to a great and fun school year.

The naked truth of a mom's day-not for squeamish tummy's
Well, yesterday I was going to venture out and have lunch out with all the kiddos. I got up early and was sure to plan Coltons feeds so it would be perfect and I wouldn't have to breastfeed in public. I bathed all the kids and myself and got everyone dressed so cute. This may seem like a small accomplishment for some but for me on this day it was not a small task with a 3 week old baby. I was thrilled to be getting out of the house. Chick fil A was my desired destination. Our morning went perfect, all the kids were happy, healthy and playing well together. We started our drive down 290 to chick and we were only 2 minutes away when the plans went SOUTH! As I gazed so lovingly at my kiddos all buckled in the back seat I would have never dreamed that I would have witnessed what started happening. My sweet sweet Caleb went from laughing and having fun to projectile vomiting in the car. It was like slow motion. I could see my baby getting sick all over the place and I couldn't stop to help him at that point and the smell was just the start of what I had to clean in the car. Luckily despite the other kiddos gagging from the odor on one else got sick....AMEN! WE obviously turned around and Danny met me at home. He was like my knight in shining armor pulling up the driveway in his truck and lifting my pukey kiddo out of the car. What a wonderful husband! He took Caleb and hosed him off with the water hose......at that point that was the only option due to the circumstances. I started to clean out the car. The doctor said he has strep throat. He doesn't get fever, sore throat, or any of the other usual symptoms for strep......just vomit! Lovely.
I am glad to report that my car is clean and disinfected and odor free and most importantly Caleb is feeling much better today! Maybe next time we will try McDoanlds.

Colton Lane Cimerhanzel
Well, Colton must have read his eviction notice early. I was scheduled to be induced the 23rd at 7am but Colton decided to make his appearance ealry and came on July 18. I went into labor at 3:30am and by 5:30 my contractions were 5 minutes apart. My neighbor and sweet friend took the kids at 6:30 in the morning so we could get to the hospital. My labor progressed smoothly and was wonderful (along with my epidural) and by 2:14 my sweet sweet baby was born. He is perfect and although he was my biggest baby he seems soo small. He weighed 7lbs 11oz. Chubba Chubba. Just in case you are wondering how he measures up to the other kiddos....Danny weighed 5lbs 0oz, Caleb weighed 6lbs 7oz, and Addyson weighed 5lbs 6oz. SO, my little Colton was not so little. Oh but he is so precious. I had such a big gap between Addyson and Colton that Colton feels like my first baby again. He is healthy and beautiful and I am so excited that he is here. I just stare at him and grow more in love with him everyday.
My mom stayed with the kids while we were at the hospital and I know she was exhausted after she left. I was so thankful to have her here and know my kids were having a great time. She brought the kids to the hospital and they were thrilled to see and meet Colton. Finally a face to the name. Caleb let me know that my stomach was not any smaller like I said it would be after the baby came out......so cruel. They are all sweet with Colton but of course Addy being a girl has taken to trying to mother him. It is sweet.
Danny's family came and saw Colton and it was fun being able to share him with them. They were sweet enough to bring us food and baby "goodies". Everybody loves babies!!
I am thankful that everything turned out so great with our baby Colton. Danny has been wonderful through this entire process and I could not have asked for a better husband and father during all this. He has such wonderful ways and has stepped in and done everything I have needed him to do without my even asking for help. I know that Colton came at just the right time and I am thankful for him and for my entire family.
