Baby check up

I had a doctor visit today and I am so glad to say that everything looks good. The baby had a heart rate of 168 and during the scan the baby was appearing to be sucking his thumb. Too cute. The doctor had to comment on how active of a baby I had, and I agree, the baby was moving around the entire time. Very active!! I praise God that this baby is doing good!

Bus Rider

After a long time of Danny asking if he could try to ride the bus, I finally agreed to let him try. I was a nervous wreck but of course he was thrilled and he loved it. His teacher even wrote an e-mail to me letting me know how excited he was when he got on the school bus. Little guy is getting big!

Right after Bath!!

Not 10 mintues after I bathed all 3 kids, I find my little perfect princess has been up to no good. The picture says more than anything I could write at this point. But I will say that this is how she went to bed tonight. I will just have to re-clean in the morning.

Kindergartener at work

The entire Kindergarten class had to make a penguin out of a 2 liter bottle. Obviously alot of this project falls on the hands of the parents which made me completely nervous since I am NOT crafty at all (infact it makes me feel very anxious when craft time rolls around). But I must say , with the help of little Dan Dan I think we (I) did a pretty good job. I am very thrilled at how my penguin turned out. I think I will be sad to see it go off to school tommorow. But I know I must release it to the wild. It is, afterall, Danny's school project and not my prize possesion.

Addyson-upate

The doctor called yesterday and cancelled the appointment we have for January 29. That should be exciting to me excpet for the fact that the reason he cancelled it was because he scheduled her for another procedure. We go to TCH Feb 3 for a nuclear dye to be injected into her via IV then they have to so a scan of her kidney to make sure she doesn't have any scarring on her kidney. I am not real fond of the idea of anything nuclear going into my baby but I realize it is for her best interest.

Addyson

My sweet baby had to go to the doctor today. She has another UTI. She has been so sick today. I thought that the doctor was going to send us to the hospital because she was ion so much pain. She has Kidney reflux which makes her susceptible to UTI's. She takes an antibiotic every day to keep the UTI's away but she has now had 2 break through UTI's which means that we will probably have to do surgery now to correct the kidney that has the reflux. We go to the urologist January 29th to see what he says about surgery. My poor baby, she is miserable.

Practice makes perfect

Well, we have been spending much time in the back yard practicing baseball. It's hard to believe that it is baseball season already. The boys are pumped and ready to go and hit the ball. They get to play on the same team this year and they are so excited about that. Addy will try to catch the ball as well. She wants the pink glove so she can play too. She can actually throw the ball pretty good. but she will only throw her pink one. Baseball practice will start in february and the games start in March. Fun times!!!

The Serparation

Well, this weekend was a big weeeknd in the home of the Cimerhanzel's. It was a very bitter sweet weekend. Caleb and Danny have shared a room since infancy but this past week Caleb decided he wanted to venture out on his own. He let me know he was ready for his own room. The reasoning behind this.....becuase danny snores and it keeps him up at night. While I thought that was a very funny response, I can't blame him. Danny is a tough kiddo to sleep with and I am reminded of this on bad dream nights. So, Friday big Danny started working on the split up. Little Danny was not happy at all about this descision so that was hard. Big Danny finished late Friday night and each kid went to their own room for bedtime.... for the first time. The boys gave each other a hug goodnight.....for the first time. It was sad. Caleb happily hopped into his bed in his new room and seriously was asleep in less than 5 minutes. He was thrilled and slept with a smile on his face. Danny, on the other hand, was not so happy. As I walked out of his room after kissing him goodnight, I could hear him quietly sobbing. I quickly turned back around and consoled him reminding him of all the awesome things that comes with having your own room all to yourself. He was not convinced. He continued to cry for a while then seemed a little better. It was sad. No one likes to see their kiddo sad. It was sweet though, he just wanted his brother. It was a nice reminder to me of how much he loves his brother, they have a sweet relationship and always have. I pray that continues. Don't worry his tears quickly faded! By the next day he was already telling Caleb that he was not allowed on his bed. Proof that he is still the big brother.

My poor dog

My poor poodle doesn't have a chance with the kids. Thank goodness he has incredible patience with them. Between Danny shooting him with his nerf gun, caleb laying on him, and Addy riding him like a horse, the only thing I can do is thank the Lord that he has patience and forgiveness. No matter the abuse that he endures, he still loves the kids.

Trying Again

Ok, so the scoop is that I had to start my blogspot all over again due to some crazy template that overtook my last blog. Luckily I didn't have that many posts. The computer and I have a love/hate relationship. I will have to repost my pics but I am not doing anything until I have some Mexican food first. If I had a picture of a mean computer then I would post that. My computer and I will make up and all will be good again in the land of blogging!
